At Pepe we have always had a special interest in trees and the importance of sustainable forestry. That is why we are committed to buying the wood for our furniture from PEFC accredited forests and are part of a rigorous chain of endorsement as the wood passes through the supply chain.
Apart from our own use of timber, we are also part of the global community who cares about the environment and the future of the planet. As a business we are part of a growing movement of companies seeking to achieve the status of a B Corporation, providing evidence of socially and environmentally responsible practices – including energy supplies, waste and water use, worker compensation, diversity and corporate transparency. The ethos of this movement is Business as a Force for Good.
Our tree planting initiative - '1 tree planted with every product', starts on January 1st 2024 and is delivered through Ecologi. Our current lifetime contribution is shown below.
