What is pressure treated timber ?
The process of pressure treatment that takes place on our
timber is a highly effective method of preserving the timber
especially for outdoor use.
Under controlled conditions in a vacuum pressure
treatment plant the natural moistures are drawn out and the
timber is then impregnated with an EU approved preservative.
The material used is water based and contains copper and
organic azoles which become fixed on impregnation giving
long term protection to the timber from rot and decay. |
